Designer Adam Tihany had a very specific idea of what kind of artwork he commissioned for Le Cirque. He wanted 40% of the wire drawings to contain monkeys. He also wanted the drawings to be divided themeatically in groups, i.e., three drawings with elephants, three drawings with acrobats, etc. The "drawing" portion is done in steel wire and attached to 100% rag, bristol board. All drawings are 11" x 11" and were framed by in-setting them into the mahogany walls.
